How to keep chicks/chickens out of the garden

We're just getting ready to put our garden in. Unfortunately it will be about the same time our baby chicks will go out. How do I keep the chickens out of the garden? The coop is right next to it.

We use electric poultry net to keep the chickens were they are supposed to be. Or just put it around the garden to keep them out
