How to keep eggs in the right position......

How do you guys keep the bigger end higher than the lower end of the egg in a home made incuabtor?

I don't think the hen worries about the big end being higher, just that they're turned appropriately.

I ended up putting my eggs in cartons (I borrowed this incubator and the mesh was all bent), so to keep from having a giant "pile" of eggs I just put the eggs in carton bottoms. Seems to be working great, as I now tip the incubator instead of tipping each egg.

No they are standing fat end up in the carton bottom, they just stay there.
