How to keep geese out of patio flowers?

I think elevation and a barrier are key here. I just didn't know if there was some magic goose mojo to keep them out. Thanks for your input

Fencing of some kind for sure. I had some flowers planted in a cast iron bath tub and one day I looked outside to see Greta laying on them. Some geese don't mind a little elevation, it improves the scenery.

My geese certainly seem to think so.

My geese fell in love with the strawberry bed. Not eating it, just napping in it-----and squashing the plants out of existence.

I actually found out they like my composter, an old garbage can, because when I moved it they stopped frequenting the strawberries. They also enjoy yelling at me whenever I mess with it.
