How to kill chick please asap!!

Please tell me how to kill my sick chickie humanely ASAP! 3 weeks old.
I have tried cocci meds, hand feeding etc for days and chickie has gone downhill and I need to end it's suffering now.

A vet told me once to put it in a can with a lid, and put into the freezer. I suppose in your case a yogurt container with lid.

Not pleasant but we always grabbed the body in one hand and head in the other and have a quick sharp pull. Or when butchering just removed the head. Hope someone else has a more pleasant option. Sorry you have to go through it.

They are supposed to fall asleep first. in the container as they are cold. they will not freeze to death, just lack oxygen.

Sounds like broomstick method but by hand. I have done broomstick before but not sure I can do by hand

The idea isnwhen they start to get cold, just like people, they go into hypothermia where they tent to just fade into a sleep and then die

Ok so this is good then I can do freezer. I'll find a container now.. if it's painless for chickie
