How to make a chicken happy

One of my chickens just died, and the other seems very lonely. Any ideas to make her happy before we get a new chicken? I spend more time with her and give her strawberries and mealworms.

I think you can only do so much in your kind of situation. I've heard that some chickens like to watch TV, haven't tried it myself so I don't know if it will entertain her or only scare the living daylight out of her

Just spending lots of time with her and giving her a little extra treats than usual should be good. Maybe get her a little toy or something she can do to spend some time. Can I ask, what happened to the other chicken?

In the meantime you might put a mirror in her run for her to look at...

A never-fail toy that will keep a chicken happy for hours is a Gatoraid bottle with quarter-inch holes drilled in it and filled with scratch grains and BOSS.
