How to make a costume for your chickens

So there is a 4-h show coming up in a few months and you have to dress you chicken.
Does anyone know how to make your chicken a costume?

What kind of costume were you thinking of?

I don't really know but but if anybody has ideas I am open minded.

When I was superintendent of our poultry show, I added a cage decorating class so the 4-Hers could have some fun. One of the older boys in the club decorated his cage like a pirate ship with card board cut outs and dressed his chicken in a black cape and tied a little piece of red fabric around th head for a bandana. It was the cutest thing! The following year, he made his cage into a coffin and dressed his bird as a vampire with a black cape and construction paper blood. He was really quite creative, and it helped hat his chickens were used to being handled!
