I especially like the blue Lakenvelder

I have a cock here from a Lakenvelder Ameraucana cross that is colored like that but has some gold in his hackles and saddle.
When I saw your pic earlier on TC, the first thing I thought was 'why did I never put him back with a Lakenvelder hen to clean that up and make more'?

I think that one is from summer '06 hatch and he's coming back from a molt. After I saw your blue Lak pic, I pulled him out of a pen of older boys that were going to auction --- so I (and he ) should say THANKS!

I love all the mutt chickens they are very interesting birds.I have 6 chicks now that are blue cochin hen and white leghorn roo.They all look white now with almost vulture hocks and very long legs with the tail of the leghorn.

here is my creation, has all the accessories, a beard, cheeks, wattles, feather feet and vulture hocks, we called him Moltar but had to get rid of him when he got older. he is a silver penciled cochin roo X porcelin D'uccle, Thats his mom Cheeks behind him, below him is a picture of his daddy, Hopper.
