How To Make Success As A Horse Trainer

People use the internet like CRAZY Style. I keep my phone handy when we go buy an expensive item so right there in the store I can read reviews. If you had video of you training a horse on your website and I saw your ability and how you handled a horse, I would be more apt to hire you then simply by word of mouth.
Okay... well, as said, I only have videos (with me) of my competitive riding.
Videos of training could be up to an hour long.
I don't have many pictures of me riding or training. Nobody is there to take pictures of me. I should try to get some so maybe my boyfriend will come with me to the indoor arena this week.

I think you're off to a great ! Are you open to constructive criticism? If so, let me tell you how I feel about your website. I'm still looking at your website and I'm having a tuff time navigating. :( The three line "hamburger" thing is easy to miss:(

I think you might get more interest if you modified your website to look more like this with all of your links at the same place on all pages:

Does your pricing include boarding? If so, you need pictures of your facilities.
If you train English, you need pictures or a horse being ridden English. Jumping, western pleasure, harness, trail, etc...

X2! videos would be a plus.

Hmm, okay! I'll get pictures of the facilities then. The price does include board. I have a picture of english riding on the very last page. Unfortunately, as said, I rarely (if ever) have someone to take pictures of my riding. I'll try to get some this week.

I think you might have more credibility if you specialize in one or two things, instead of selling yourself as someone who can train any horse to do anything. For instance, I really don't believe you have skills I'd want to pay for for English training. Your pictures are primarily gaming, so If I were you I might focus on that, and starting young horses in the basics. People generally feel better about someone who is a specialist in one or two things, not someone who claims to be able to do it all (whether you can or not).

Okay... I updated the template. How's the current format?
I can't really focus on one thing- my programs are designed specifically to include all horses because around here, there are very little options for training.
But I could focus on restarting and finishing horses for rodeo and gymkhana (that's what it's called), and for English, only restarting or legging up English horses.
See I love English, part of the reason I include it in my program, I just don't have an english horse due to a long rip-off from 4 years ago. So I figure why not work with others' english horses.

you don't need someone to take pictures or video for you. get a cheap tripod, even one of the wrap-around legs that you can attach to a fence railing. Or get a go-pro and put it on your riding helmet is better than nothing.

you will spend a bit of time cutting and editing but it's a small investment in the overall picture. you can also set most digital cameras to take photos at a set interval. Again, you'll be deleting more pictures than you keep but it's easier than trying to get a novice to take good photos of you working.
