I have recently seen d'uccles and a few other birds with what they call the
lemon color, looks like a yellowed up version of millie fluer.
I have also seen it overseas in the d'anvers, which I have 14 colors of, and would like to attempt to create in them.
Do any of you know what colors and methods should be used to attempt this?
They look to me to be millie fluer x porcelain, but not sure.
Any one who has do this before, your advice would be great
Thanks
Aubrey

In the case of the lemon mille fleur (or do they call it lemon porcelain), the colour is made by using the cream gene (ig) on mille fleur, it hs also been suggested that a gene called dilute (Di) may be used.
There is also lemon penicilled wyandotte also using ig &/or Di

Thatks for the reply... So what base colors should be used to get those genes.
Heres what I have in d'anver , really dont want to do a breed cross as it takes years to straighten it all back out.
We have them in
millie fluer
porcelain
self blue (lavender)
blue
black
splash
white
black mottled
quail
blue quail
silver quail
cuckoo
blue cuckoo
b.b. red
