How to Manage?

I was thinking about adding a software program to help me manage my chickens. I found one called Zooeasy ( http://www.zooeasy.com/en/pedigree-software/breeding-poultry/breeders/index.html ). Has anyone used it?
I thought about excel, but I am very ignorant of that program and I almost think it would be a nightmare to try to use.
Does anyone has any suggestions to other programs?

Do you have that many chickens and breed that often?

To me it just seems a waste of, from 67 up, money. Cost management can be done using something as simple as wordpad. All your doing is making a list. If selling eggs and chicks then another column to list income. Another ledger (page) for dated entries for notes and observations. A person can manage money and all aspects of husbandry on a slew of animals on two pages.

I keep an egg tally on the calender myself and a list of cost on a notepad page on my computer.

No, I do not raise that many chicks. I have been writing everything down on paper and have a ...eh, sort of scrap book of chicken info. I think more then anything I want to be able to budget my money for the chickens accurately without having to manually write it out and then calculate it all. I guess I am just being lazy.

You could try a free budget managing software, like Buddi. Maybe that would help and/or make things easier.
