how to mend a broken wing

my hen has had a broken wing for about a week. Shes a year old and shes pretty weak all of a sudden, i brought her inside and noticed a big peck marck on her back , but i need to know how to tie her wing up and should i put her on electroylytes how much and for how long , thanks

also i tried wraping it and she wouldnt keep it on . how should i warp her and wha shpuld i give her?

Since it's been a week it won't heal on it's own. It would be best to have a vet amputate it. But in the meantime, you can splint it up with vetwrap. Put the wing in as close to a normal tucked in position as possible. Start by wrapping the bottom flight feathers a few times then fold in the wing and wrap both parts together, then from the back side of wing, under and over then back over the flights.
