I bring along a couple of hand warmers as others have suggested.
Make sure what you put the chicks in has plenty of ventilation (I use a basket) and especially if you use those hand warmers that you shake to activate as they use oxygen to work.

Hi, best wishes with transporting your chicks! I've only transported fully grown hens that distance so can imagine chicks are more fragile. Let us know how it goes for you!
