Last night my friend gave me some lovely quail her husband brought back from a hunting farm in South Georgia. I've never prepared quail before, and seeing as how they are so lean I'm sure they could do with a bacon wrap. Almost all the online sites want me to stuff the birds with cream cheese and jalapeno. Are they so strong, that they need a pepper to help mask the flavor? I was hoping to roast them in the oven, or maybe grill them. I know y'all have some great quail recipes, so lets go! BTW, they are frozen, so I'm not in a huge hurry to use them.
