an was woundering how you put your eggs do you lay them down on there sides on the screen we are using a lg .thanks for any help

You can... But I hear it is hard to get the temp back to normal. So what I am going to do is take an egg carton, cut out the the bottoms and place paper towels down to make clean up easy. Then, just put the eggs in the carton holes with the cut outs.

Congratulations on your first lock down. I did my first on Friday, first chick hatched overnight. I used a LG still air incubator.

You'll hear a variety of opinions since so many people have success different ways. On top of the wire I put a paper towel. On top of that, that porous shelf liner (the non-sticky type used so things don't slide around). I put the eggs on their side on top of the liner.

Good luck! And keep your hands out of the incubator during lock down. That was difficult for me. I had to write myself a note and leave it on the incubator.
