My rooster Gladys,.yes he wasn't supposed to be a rooster, was never touchy feely,..even when we thought he was a hen, he always kept his distance and we were fine with that,..I leave him be he leaves me be...and most everyone else,..except for my husband and oldest son. My husband tends to pick up the hens while the rooster is corraling his girls, the rooster would complain and my husband would laugh at him,..so now when my husband goes out the rooster stands tall throws out wings,..my son on the bottom looks like his father legs coming at him,...so the rooster does more of the same. I for one have never had an issue,..Gladys spends more time ignoring me sometimes seeing what i am up to in a non invasive way,..but never bothers me or my daughters or even my younger son,..so I have to agree with the "wild" one.
