How to rehome a rooster

So we purchased 3 isa browns and 3 brahmas from TSC. They were all supposed to be hens however one Brahma has turned into a rooster legally we can not own a rooster where I am. We live in mass and we don’t have any other chicken owner friends so we have no idea how to even start a rehoming process. Any suggestions will be appreciated. We are willing to drive almost anywhere to make sure he goes to a safe loving home.

You can post a picture of him along with a description in the rehoming thread...try to post on your local craigslist.

In addition to Craigslist, you could see if there are any local poultry swaps. In fact, you could use Craigslist to find swaps. If your local feed store has a bulletin board, post something there. And BYC has state threads, find yours, and post there too. Be sure to take some good photos.

Search fb for farm pages near you. that will help you to find places near to you, and They might take him.

Post at feed store.

call your county 4-H office. They know the kids with chickens, or may have relatives with chickens. So, they might be able to help with additional ideas too.
