Hi folks. I can't find the specific answer that I'm looking for so I thought I'd post here 
It's been years since I had Muscovy ducks and when I got them, it was late winter so the situation is different - the Muscovys stayed in their area inside the barn so they had months to learn where home was before going outside.
So tomorrow I'm set to pick up a small adult Muscovy flock and it's turning out to be a beautiful spring with all my free range birds out and about. The barn is wide open these days but I know I can't let these new ducks out right away. My question is this: How long do I need to keep the ducks in their area before they learn what home is (before I let them outside)? Is it 2 weeks?
