How to reset day counter on 24s incubator

Ti both arrow buttons..nothing….tried holding reset buton once and twice….nothing….so furstrating.


I have the 24S with LED in case anyone else has suggestions. I also tried unplugging for 24 hours and discharging the capacitors….I don’t understand how it is keeping memory of this

Hi,
I have this Chinese incubator model 24s.

Day counter currently sitting at day 44, tried reset button but it only cycles the egg rotator while day counter cycles from 10 to 1. Then resumes day counter at day 44.

Any ideas?

I’m also having trouble keeping this incubator under 50% for the first 18 days, unless water is low, it maintains humidity at 60-64%.

Reading the manual doesn’t indicate this model has controls for humidity other than a low humidity alarm.

With heavy rain some days then several days of sunny dry out weather, outdoor humidity varies widely.

I stuck a pencil under the lid to prop it open and then used various pieces of tape o seal only what I needed to keep the humidty where I wanted it

Ok so you have to unplug it and plug it back in and then hold both arrows to get it to reset if it’s not working any other way….must have a safety built in case someone had been pushing too many buttons

Whoop!! I have had this problem for ages...just tried the up/down buttons...FIXED!!

I am having the same problem, have tried both solutions but neither worked. Maybe I am not holding my mouth right? lol
How do I get it to reset? ARRrrrrrggggggg

how long do you hold down on the arrows?? Also do I hold both down at the same time??

Thanks. I’ve tried the reset method shown in the video.

It causes my incubator to cycle down the day counter and to rotate the eggs from one side to another. At end, my day counter does not reset to zero.

The hunt for a solution continues.

The video shared is for a 24a not a 24s. I also have the same exact one as you and I have tried everything to get mine to reset and still no luck!

Hi there! I have the same incubator and I'm curious if you were able to get a good hatch at 60-64% humidity? Mine is staying at that with barely any water in the channels. The manual says you should keep all 55-70% humidity for days 1-18 so I'm hoping it will be ok!

One more method to try for resetting the timer:

Hold down the up & down arrows and while doing that unplug the machine for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and release the arrow buttons.

There might be room for adjustment. This worked for me then I stopped trying.

Personally I hve never used this but I did find a youtube link that could help you Good luck.

That “reset” doesn’t work on mine. I’ve tried it over and over. Also, my humidity won’t get below 77%. It stays above 80 almost all the time.
