I'm setting eggs in my Brinsea octagon 20 this morning and I don't know why, but it got into my head that I'm doing it wrong (after 3 years of incubating). Looking at the picture below, let's say the top is north and the bottom is south. The bator automatically turns the eggs from north to south and back again. So are the eggs supposed to be placed like the ones on the left or the ones on the right? The ones on the left would get turned more side to side and the ones on the right turned more top to bottom. Am I making sense, and does it even matter? Google has no answers for me. If you look at the way a hovabator turns them, I'm thinking I should set them like the ones on the right.
