How to sift poop out of shavings

Ok, good, I am a clean freak so I'll change them often, thanks.

So am I :) I use shavings on the ground, poop board under the roost they use at night which I use a scraper & dust pan to collect every day. The shavings hardly need cleaning, I do let them out in my yard when I'm home, and I do "poop patrol" in the yard daily. I use a long tong to pick up poop (yard & shavings) that goes into a plastic bag to the dump or into my garden. PDZ & DE on the poop board, once a week I remove the hard plastic covering on the poop board to wash down with lysol.

Oh the shavings I keep adding to, no idea where it's going but once I decided to change it out, so I raked/shoveled into my plants. Works great but it really didn't need to be changed, wasn't stinky or anything, I just wanted 'fluff' in the Run/Coop.

Thanks for the info. Mine are still in the "huddle stage" and I haven't installed any roosts yet. I am using shavings for now and yesterday they finally had a temporary fence and they very cautiously finally went outside. They have mites and that is my priority right now, they came with mites from a private breeder.
