How to start your flock

Hey newbie here ! Whats your opinion on my flock.?
8x RIR pullets 7 weeks old
2x EE pullet 1 week old
3x Buff Orphington pullets 1 week old
2x Buff Orphington Roo 1 week old

Congrats on your new flock. The roo's might fight but depends on how much space you have. Some people have multiples & it works out fine but some times it doesn't. I have a mixed flock as well- white leg horns, sexlinks, BCM, barred rocks, wyandottes, welsummer, RRR, a cali white & a couple geese.

Depending upon the rooster, 10 to 1 is far more realistic especially when dealing with large clumsy roosters like the Orpingtons.
