Your point is invalid. Chickens will not associate cooked eggs with raw, freshly laid, in the shell eggs. And as far as eating chicken, same thing. Feeding eggs and chicken, or any other meat based protein, fills a nutritional need that they may have, and thus helps to prevent them from developing the habit of eating eggs for 2 reasons: Their need for protein will be satisfied, and their egg shells may be stronger. Often, egg eating starts in the winter, when the chicken's natural diet which includes a good supply of meat protein is lacking. The egg shells are prone to breaking, due to cold weather which may lead to frozen cracked shells, and weaker shells, which again makes them prone to cracking. Any leaky egg will be devoured. As far as cannibalism goes, that is more often associated with crowded conditions. Increase the protein and calcium, and I think that egg eating will correct it self.
