How to stop my broody's chicks from falling

Hi! Found a chick has hatched under my broody (day 20 so more might come). And started worrying...
So, the roosts are next to the nests but I don't want clover (new chick) to fall down when she explores the coop. How can I stop this from happening? For tonight, I placed a board over the roosts but the other chickens want to roost so I can't keep it like this.
I can't move Pippin to her own coop since I don't have another coop and I wanted her to stay in the flock.

Can u move her and the chick to the floor of the coop.

Move them into any secure place you have. Build her a new nest. It's worth it, if it means your chicks don't fall and get injured and/or freeze to death.
