My white leghorn and cuckoo maran have been jumping the fence and just sitting in it. How do I stop this bad behavior

Possibly placing roosts outside where they can roost on instead of the fence. They love roosting and that fence seems to be the spot.

I don’t know if this helps but this is what my coop looks like so I can’t put a roof on as there are trees (the bunny is not mine but my neighbors so it doesn’t live here)

Yes, I figured maybe a roof or netting wasn’t an option. But a roost in the middle of the setup may help.

Do you have any trouble with predators? I would think not with a bunny roaming around. I know with my Granny she lived in the city so predators weren’t common. But neighbors taking her chickens were.

We get possums every now and then and some neighborhood cats but otherwise no. I do lock them in the henhouse at night though. I put an old plastic chair out there that they used to roost on I took it out a while ago and forgot to put it back hopefully that helps

Chickens love to perch during the day. They love flying up on things and just sitting there. The top of your fence is perfect for that since it has a rail up there. Once the get up there who knows which side they will hop down on.

The way I've handled that is to not give them a good place to perch up there. I took some stiff wire (chicken wire can work, I used 2x4" welded wire) and attached it so about 12" to 18" stood up above the top of the fence. If you attach it at the top of the fence and the low end to the middle of the fence it should stand up. I did not use smaller hardware cloth because of cost and it would be more visible than the other wire. I did not think it looked bad but if you want it to pretty much disappear paint it black or dark green.

You can try putting something for them to perch on inside the run, hopefully it will help. But maybe something to fall back on if it doesn't work. Good luck!

You can also clip their wings.
There wings are clipped
