How to stop pigeons eating feed?

I've a problem that over have my feed I put out is eaten by pigeons, any idea how to stop them ? thanks

Trying to understand your question....Pigeons are eating the feed you put out for something else? If I am understanding this right, put out the feed, give a small amount of time for it to get eaten, and then remove it. When the Pigeons no longer have a food source, they will look elsewhere.

Hi sorry it's supposed to say half! Yes I have hens and the wild pigeons eat a lot of there food ! I've tried to give them lil and often but the pigeons seem to be always on the scabb! Thanks for reply

Feed in the run and make sure the run fence mesh is small. My problem is that I free range and the sparrows go in and out the run pop door to steal food. Not much to be done about that unless your feed and hang around for a bit while your birds eat.

Thanks but I don't have a run they are 100% free range

I would consider Naunnie's advice about the treadle. I built the one at the link she provided and overall it worked pretty well.
