How to stop these birds from fighting for food?

Apparently they are game birds kept for fighting, and the chicks often fight too. Guess separating them may be required. See video of chicks fighting at a young age:
 
It is in their nature to fuss at the feed dishes. It maintains the pecking order.
The top birds eat first and any questioning the flock order get put in their place.

As long as food is available all day the lower ranking will get their chance.

It helps to have the feed dishes some distance apart and barriers up so the lower ranking can go behind and eat without being seen.

Did you see the video I just posted? These are wild chickens often kept for cock fighting. Probably different than the typical domestic chicks that have minor squabbles.
