How To Take Better Photos Of Your Chickens

I can't find how to post photos on BYC and I'm not a techie. Is there a simple way to do this? I'd appreciate any help!

Check out the link that casportpony shared for better instructions but whether you're on your phone or the computer you should see a button under the box you're typing in that says "Attach files" with a little paper clip next to it. That's the button I use to attach photos to my posts rather than the image button at the top.

I have got to brush up on "rule of thirds" and do you think there will be a purchasable (is that a word) calendar? I'd like one. Would be proud to have a chicken calendar here in my girl room by my BYC peep homies!

Perhaps next year I will be able to participate and contribute some worthy photos of my clan/flock.

Should I have cropped some of the grass out from below her?

one of my tips: if your yard looks bad, but you have nice trees by the driveway, put the chicken on the roof of the car. You can get nice pictures, at eye level of the chicken, and also get a good background.

Depends on the edit. I like to use the sharpening tool for photos that are juuuuust a little out of focus, or got blurry because the subject moved. That's not inauthentic about the subject at all. It's like the woman wearing glasses so she can see well, not like makeup

There are a lot of edits that you can do to make an image pop more without actually altering the subject.
