Can you provide a photo of your housing setup?

It is not finished yet but I decided to keep it indoors when I get him. I added a lock on the door so my cat could not get in

I know it doesn’t look like much but I will upgrade when he is here

A rabbit will jump right over that.
Can you hold off on getting a rabbit until you figure out safer housing?

He is already on his way. I can not hold off. I can barely go over this fence? I will add something on top(like a tarp) just in case though. Thank you for the info!

If you can, I'd get your rabbit spayed/neutered, as it of course means your rabbits cannot breed, but it can also prevent a lot of behavioral problems and potential health issues.

How wide is the bar spacing? A little rabbit may be able to squeeze through and get loose.

Yes I have not put it in yet.

Be careful with the hardware cloth; it has very sharp edges. Not sure that's the best for a rabbit.

Are you saying you decided he will not be an outdoor rabbit?
