How to tame new geese

Hi i recently bought two new embden geese, one male one female.

They seem scared of me, and i when i got to fill up there food and water they run to the other end of the garden.the female tends to hiss at me as well. Where i am (australia) it's autumn so it's not breeding season. How would I go about taming them?the are the first geese ii have got as well
I have ducks and chickens too

Well taking your time with lots of patience is first and for most. You got them at a good time you'll have all fall and winter to get them use to your place and you.

Treats like romaine lettuce always makes for warming up also.
