I have a cochin banty rooster who looks very similar to yours. He is a cochin, yes? Anyways I got mine from a hatchery an was told he was a black, but he looks blue/grey to me. Here's a pic of my boy

So, that bing said, if my boy was really a 'black' cochin banty roo, wouldn't he look more like the one in the pic I found off the Internet? He look grey, not black. But that's my thought. Your roo just reminded my of mine, sorry I went on a big long rant...
