How to tell if my hen is laying eggs?!

Hello everyone! I have a Savart Honas hen and she has laid a few eggs, however, I am not sure if she is still laying eggs. I have not seen her laying in the nesting boxes and I have not gotten any eggs that would be the kind her breed lays. I know that she is laying age not to old not to young, she is healthy, she is happy and not stressed and I know that she is not hiding eggs. So my question is how do I tell if she is laying eggs? Since she has a black comb I cannot look at it like I can my other girls and say to myself “oh, she is laying because her comb is bright red”

How old is she? If she is just starting to lay, that sounds normal. If she has been laying for at least few months already, I would be more worried.

She is over a year, she is either 1 1/2 or almost 2

How warm is it where you are? Sometimes when it is really hot they will take a break from laying for a bit.

it is about 97 degrees daily. She was laying in February some but stopped from March till now.

Hmm. Has she been acting weird besides that? Have you checked her pelvic gap?
