How To Tell If Turkey Eggs Are Fertile?

Hello, we have turkey eggs in an incubator and we recently candled them. How do you tell if the egg is fertile and has a baby inside?

I have had my best luck candling on day 12- 14.

Sometimes can be seen as early as day 7 but will be very faint.

Uou should see veining and embryo development if fertile.

Thank you. We put them in the incubator on December 13. When we candled them last week we could see the yolk and sometimes there would be dark matter but it wouldn't cover the whole egg. What does that mean?
