I am getting some older Pekin ducks tomorrow. I've never had them before, and was wondering how I tell a male from a female? In pictures they all look the same to me.

If they are full grown I think the males should have a curl in their tail and the females don't but I'm not sure?

Males have a curl feather and a raspy quack. Girls will quack really loud and its sound like rack-rack-rack. You will hear the real difference between them. If not sure grab one and listing to its complaints.

    Theres two ways of telling.

Males have curly tail feather, females dont.

And if ducks are small, you kinda push its butt and the penis pops out if its a male.

Well, the ducks were delivered to me this evening. There are 5 Pekins and one that looks like a Runner duck. They're really thin and in bad shape, and their feathers are so raggedy I can't tell anything by the tails. Maybe they are all female, or any males just have really torn up tails. I'll have to listen to their voices and see.
