How to tell the difference between California white leghorns and white leghorns?

Just as the question says! How can you tell the difference between these two breeds since they look basically identical?

I’ve heard that they can be all white too, so if there are no black spots how can you tell?

Well, Standard bred Leghorns have longer, lower, more sweeping tails. But with hatchery Leghorns, why would it matter? There is no difference.

California Whites *should* have at least a few flecks of black.

It's probably possible for one to have no black at all and in that case I have no idea how you could tell.

My California Whites still have large combs but not nearly as large as a leghorn hen does.
I have had several over the years and while MOST had some black I currently have one that has none.
