I have always sexed them by tail feathers. If they get some really early on, its a girl. If the wings and stuff come in but the butt is still fuzzy, boy.

This works best if you have other fuzz butts to compare it to, but I haven't been wrong yet. Been doing it this way for about 4 years now...

Feather sexing only works for certain breeds. Of my 3 dutch, 2 had there tail feathers come through quickly, they also had neat even feathering on the wings. One of those two was a girl the other a boy. The one who was slow to get a tail and had raggedy wing feather growth was also a boy. The only sure way to tell (apart from vent sexing) is as they get older, by looking at their combs and legs and feet.
Boys have bigger combs that get pink quickly, sometimes as early as 2 or 3 weeks depending on breed. Boys also have longer thicker legs and bigger feet.

If it were so easy to tell, there wouldn't be a "What Breed/Gender" board. Wait until it is 4 weeks old and then post pictures. Sometimes it's easy at that point for someone who has experience with the breed to tell you. Sometimes it isn't and you have to wait several more weeks for gender to become more obvious. Some breeds are a whole lot more difficult to tell than others and mixes can be really tough since you can't compare them to anything for relative comb size.

there is a method of doing it when they first ahtch my uncle said and does and it is if you pick it up by the fluff on its neck or head and if it puts its wings out its a boy then he snaps its neck :S and if its a girl they hold there wings in and another was when there a few days old is picking them up and turning your hand over so its on its back and if it struggles boy if its calm a girl
