how to tell??

So i just realized my black silkie is a rooster, i have three hens, one is older and the other two are only a few months old. The babies have started to lay eggs. Is my silkie going to fertalize their eggs?? How do I know if they are fertalized? we normall eat the eggs. Any info would be great!!

You can assume they are fertilized, but here is a thread that shows a photo of a fertilized vs non-fertilized egg.

So break a few eggs and look. Fertilized eggs do not taste any different unless they are allowed to develop a few days under a broody!
