how to test out if your coop is raccoon-proof?

idk if this is rare or what since i just got my 1st ducks at tsc this yr but my cousins have a huge racoon problem i took a live trap out once and cought 1 every night for about a week and now they have a big 1 living somewhere in the space between there house and garage and just killed a rabbid 1 this past halloween and there neighbors have a chainelink style fence around there yard and 1 white pekin duck in there and racoons havent got it i think they have had the same 1 for several yrs but idk since i dont know the ppl just kinda watch the duck while i sit on my cousins porch i asked my cousin 1 day how the racoons have not got it yet and he saide the racoons in his town are so used to eating trash they arent used to live prey

Well we have a 16" wood sight barrier with the wire at the top of that. They can't dig under and when they try to get over the sight barrier they hit the electric wire and get shocked. Plus, over the sight barrier is the heavy duty nylon netting. Like I said, this works for us and we haven't had one problem, plus these wild ducks stay in their pen 24/7.

Not unless the pen is pretty near racoon proof to start with. I had security cameras on mine but by the time I got out there one duck was gone.
