I guess I'm just insane, but picking up debris and such and we have another round of storms rolling in, but in between a ray of sun and this and had to share;

Amazing the good a person can find in any situation if we just slow down, take a deep breath and look.

And I'm going to get murdered for this one, but wanta see what someone looks like when they've been fighting wind and mud all day?

And yes I love her anyway, after all she puts up with me.... mostly.

Wow, horrible. I am so, so sorry. I lived in Mphs, Tn all my life and every year, spring and fall, tornados. In WNC, we don't seem to have them like that. They bounce off the mtns. and skip us. We still can have some bad storms and very high winds but nothing like what I dealt with in Mphs. Again, so sorry.

i am in the northern part of the state and it is bad here too.. flooding, properties getting torn apart, roads completely washed away --yes, even the asphalted ones-- etc... it is bad... they expect another round tonight and then a few days of warmer weather.

so sorry to hear of your losses on those beautiful chicks. So glad that some of them survived (coop pic ones).

Total losses so far around 23 chicks. Thank you Lord, it could have been so much worse.
