So glad ya'll are ok, I know it got rough there too. But if you don't mind, could you send your next storm... I dunno.... West?

I'm just glad we made it through with no one hurt. I had to doctor a small cut on the mare's neck today, got hit by flying debris I guess, but other than that and the chicks we lost we made it through it. Going to take a while to rebuild and clean everything up though. The older chickens that were missing came strolling in today like nothing happened.

When I was standing on the porch and it tore loose from the house and started lifting off the ground.... oh my! I felt every single day of my age! That stuff's for kids, not old guys.

We live right on the Ocean and have been through a couple (+) of bad hurricanes. I found out that it's a good way to clean out the garage

I just head for higher ground and let the water do the rest.
Once we lost our whole fish house... all that was left was a piling with a bumper sticker on it...it said...Attitude Makes The Difference
so appropriate...

DW was in the bedroom clutching onto 7 dogs for 2 days, & screaming at me to get back inside. Hey, what better way to keep an eye on things, than from outside.
