Little late now but in late May when I drove down to Bigcreekpoultry to get my quad of BSSP,,I took a Giant sized pet porter (Plastic dog kennel) and put all 3 hens inside of it in the back of my pickup, and took another box left over from Mt Hope that one of my breedng males was sold in,and put Roadtrip in that box,in the front seat with me in the air conditioning. We bonded for over 200 miles coming home.I was afraid to stop anyplace for fear he would start doing the Peacock calling and then someone would call PETA on me,,so it was a fast trip home with no stoppimg.I think thats why he will fly on my forearm now to eat treats.Maybe Thang needs a long roadtrip in the front seat?

The dog crate worked great, he had plenty of room to be comfortable, and he didn't freak out or anything!

Roadtrip is a pretty perfect name for him. I'll take the Thang on a ride. :)

Here he is! He was a very good boy on the way home. :) No complaints and no mess! He's very sweet.

His name is Owen, he's an Opal Silver Pied, six years old. :) There's more pictures in the "Show Off Your Peas" thread.
Congratulations, nice looking boy!
