We just bought 20 RIR Friday evening. These hens were not pets to say the least, they are starting to get used to me, but are still very leary. I noticed yesterday that one of them has bumblefoot-how do I treat it? Do I need to take it to the vet? I have never dealt with bumblefoot before, but her foot looks just like pics that I have seen. I have read about wrapping the foot and putting cream on it...how do I do that with a hen I can't even catch? please help.
