I'm fairly positive that my chickens have coccidosis, how do i treat this without taking them to a vet to be absolutely positive it is that, thieve had most of the symptoms for 1-2 days, where can i buy medicine ,should i clean there coop more thoroughly then i did already (normal, replacing bedding)Ive looked on the tractor supply site can agway and they don't sell anything specifically for chickens but i didn't look that hard. how do i go about treating this? ps. i have 7, 6 month old red sex-links

its an antibiotic you put in the water and tractor supply has it in the cattle section usually, just ask someone who works there and they will show you what it is. Also get some probiotic powder to sprinkle on thier food once you start treating for the coccidia

Corid 9.6% liquid solution will be in the cattle section at the feed store. Dosage for chickens is 9.5cc's per gallon of water for 5-7 days. Make a fresh solution daily and it has to be their sole source of water to drink.
