how to treat infection in eyes

We have 1 chicken that the stuff/infection is really thick. Almost like a mold of the eye. It was white and had no smell. ????
This one is out at the neighbors place. The only 1 that has had it. The chicks that were sick a couple of weeks ago are better. We treated them with tylan for 3 days followed by vitamin/electrolyte the next day.

If their nasal discharge does not smell horrible then they have an upper respiratory infection. Get Tylan Soluble powder right away. Time is of the essence. Depending how much water the chickens drink in a day mix 1/2 teaspoon to 1/2 gallon of water or 1 teaspoon to a gallon of water. Make sure this is the only water they have available to them. Use for 3 to 7 days. One bit of information about mixing the Tylan. Add the water to the Tylan not the Tylan to the water. I put the Tylan in a clean dry jar and then add a little bit of water. Shake well and then add to to rest of the water. If you add the Tylan to the water it will never mix.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree to coffee grounds in the eye or spraying Oxine.
