How to treat mites?

Okay, So I checked one of my ducks for mites, and I couldnt see if she had any, but she has loss of feathers under neath her wings, and is just very poor looking anyway. So I was wondering what is the best/ easiest way to treat for mites, just in case she does have some, and I cant see them. Are there any " home made" cures? Please let me know, thanks.

(diotenation earth )
