How to treat scratch on chick foot?

I have a 3 week old chick who seems to have peeled back a scale on her toe, and the scale is still partially attached on one side. It is not actively bleeding, just looks raw like a scrape. I’ve sprayed it with vetericyn and tried to wrap it, but she pulled the bandage off. Should I get some Blu-Kote and dab it on in order to keep her from picking at it? Is it safe for use on chicks?

I would dab some Neosporin on it. Blu-Kote will keep others from pecking it, but not her, she's pecking it because it's uncomfortable. The ointment should help, and if she manages to pull the scale off it's no big deal. It will heal.
