Sometimes a wire dog crate with food and water is a good way to separate, but keep her with the flock without causing too much stress.

Looks like a combination of pecking sores and dried blood.

That's eggs-actly what I've done. I also applied triple antibiotic salve to her comb to thwart any secondary infection.
