A few weeks ago I noticed that my Sweetgrass Tom has a little bit of parrot beak the top is longer than the bottom. I tried to get a closer look but when I tried to pick him up he just squirmed and tried to peck me, (it is not easy trying to pick up a 30 lb tom!) Can I help him with out trimming it?

Straddle him with both of your legs while he is on the ground. Don't squeeze, but pin him to the ground. Hold his head with one hand and trim the beak with the other. Coarse sandpaper should make quick work of it.

Ok! Thanks! I will have my husband help me when he gets back from his trip. :)
