How to turn eggs???

How do you turn eggs by hand that are incubating without affecting the temperature? Please and thanks!

I don't think you can. If you open the lid you are going to lose heat.

It's fine to turn them by hand - you don't lose enough heat to cause a problem. The internal temp doesn't drop immediately. Another thing to consider is, when a a hen is setting, she gets up once a day or so for up to half an hour to eat, drink, stretch, dust bathe and take care of her needs. During that time, the eggs cool down some yet a broody hen usually has a better hatch rate than eggs in an incubator.
