HOW TO TURN THE EGGS

Yeah, I'm afraid so.... I'm sorry.

I'm just into the first week of my first incubation and I'm a nervous wreck. I almost wish I hadn't invested the money. I ran my bator for 2 or 3 days prior to putting eggs in it, but yesterday I was taking temps closer to the light/heat source and noticed a significant spike. I was so disappointed. So, last night I candled a couple, but I'm new at this and I'm not sure what to make of what I see....

I ended up replacing one bulb with a lower wattage. I do have a fan, maybe I need 2....

I have a lot of money invested in my eggs, I don't think I'll be able to replace them if this goes south....


Can you get more eggs and try again? I know it's still sad for the little lives lost.... Is there a more secure location, where little ones can't reach?

Wow, I guess sometimes you just can't win

, but it sounds like all hope is not lost

.... It's kind of refreshing to hear that some could still be viable...all I read is how fragile eggs are

. I'm scared to death of my own incubator! If i look at it wrong, the eggs might not hatch
