My gallon of 2% says to dilute 1 oz or 2tbsp per gallon of water. I one time decided not to dilute and spilled it on my hand. My hands were peeling off skin like a lizard for almost a week straight. I still use it, but just diluted now.

I guess I’ll have to apply it diluted with a cotton pad or similar. It’s going to be challenging to hold down my rooster!

At 0.2% it's already diluted. Don't dilute it any further. Use at the 0.2% it comes as.
Apply to the wound, spray or by dropper and leave it on the wound. It's not a cleaner so don't scrub or wipe with it.

Shad, that is what I thought, but I was wrong. If you read the directions on the label, it is to be diluted. Hibiclens, which is 4% chlorhexidene, and it is used with a little water to wash hands or body, but must be splashed off. It is different from the oral rinse of 0.12 % that is not diluted.
